The 2024-2025 Academic Year Graduation Ceremony for our university’s education units located in the provincial center will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025, at 14:30, at the Çorum Indoor Sports Hall, affiliated with the Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports. Graduation ceremonies for education units in the districts will be held independently by the respective units on dates they deem appropriate.
Participation in the ceremony in academic gowns is mandatory for both our academic staff and students.
Students will obtain their graduation gowns from their respective education units.
Important Notes for Graduation Gown Procurement:
a) Students must deposit a Gown Usage Fee of 150.00 TL into the account of the University Strategy Development Department at Halk Bank, Çorum Branch, IBAN: TR66 0001 2009 3120 0004 0004 52, in order to receive a gown for the graduation ceremony.
b) During the payment, the recipient field must be written as Hitit University Strategy Development Department, and the description field must include the student’s full information (Name, Surname, Turkish ID Number, and Gown Usage Fee).
c) Gowns will be handed over to students upon presentation of the bank receipt (ATM slips without descriptions are not valid) and the student ID card, and will be signed for upon delivery.
d) Gowns received by students must be returned to the respective education unit within 2 working days following the graduation ceremony.
e) Students who wish to purchase graduation gowns and caps may obtain these items through the Continuing Education Center via our Technology Transfer Office Inc. (Contact: Niyazi Oğuzhan Atlamaz and Burcu Kabakdere).
f) No alterations may be made to the gowns received by students. Gowns that are damaged, altered, or unusable will not be accepted by the relevant units. In such cases, the student must purchase a new gown from the Continuing Education Center and fulfill the return obligation.
